SAP B1 Server recommendations

Thank you all for the input.  To defend myself a little, I inherited the machine from the previous guy.  Step one was to P2V and throw out the old hardware.  Now I am looking at the performance issues.  I just got some info back from a dell dpack saying that my biggest bottle neck is my disk iops, so I am working now on freeing up a pair of 15k drives to use as a dedicated drive for the DBs.  I am going to build a new VM to move it SAP to, but if the faster dedicated drives can buy me some time, I think I may wait a month a to see if there is any word on supporting server 2012.  I’m thinking to go with 6 virtual cores and 16gb ram.  Thanks again for the suggestions.
